Watch & Discover…

However, if fishing isn’t your hobby then Lowfields still has plenty to offer with scenic walks around the lakes and surrounding countryside, lots of variations of nature to enjoy and plenty of activities nearby.

The park has an air of peace and tranquility that most parks can never achieve. Being so close to Lincoln, you get the chance to enjoy what the city has to offer too – including historical attractions, shops, bars, cinema and the Theatre too.

The park is steeped in history with the two main lakes dating back to the late 1700’s when the setting was used as a clay Fisherman 2 – resizedbrick working, providing the finest brick materials for local dwellings. The site then became an established fishery in the early 1900’s.

The name ‘Lowfields’ was established in 1987 and since then we have nurtured a site of high quality and standards which has gained the prestigious David Bellamy GOLD Conservation Award for a few years now.
